Spreading the Buzz
The Buzz has arrived… Buzz Bags™ are an initiative of Fix My Business and our aim is to increase the awareness of Australian Online Businesses. There are 1000’s of online businesses in Australia and they are predominantly owned and operated by WAHM’s (Work At Home Mums). Previously some of our WAHM’s were involved in our RABK project however we have revised this, done a ton of research and streamlined it into the Buzz Bags™ program.
Through Buzz Bags™ we become a force to be reckoned with by using our own products, initiative and networking to give us the sort of brand awareness that larger corporations spend $$$$ on.
By spreading the Buzz we will all benefit from increased sales, happier customers (everyone loves a freebie) and an increased network of contacts. Everyone loves to get something for free and mums especially love reading through "stuff" to find bargains and new products. Buzz Bags™ will send this information directly to the consumer which should result in more sales and more awareness of all of our businesses.
We would like to invite all Australian Online Businesses to participate in this FREE networking program. To protect the privacy of our members we have password protected certains areas of this blog. If you would like to participate please email admin@fixmybusiness.com.au and advise your name, business, business address and email address and we will add you to the Directory and distribute the necessary passwords.

Of course we did as well (Marakye)
I did them up in brown paper bags with a coloured Buzz Bag label and stuck them down with a Marakye Sticker so people can not peek inside. Some of the fillers we got for them were quilting patterns, peppermint tea bags, Toffee Apple, Milko & Redskin Lollies (YUM!), recipe cards, scratchies and colouring in. They look fantastic and they smell super yummy because we added a sample of our bath salts to them all.
I also sent off my first lot of fillers yesterday to Melanie at Perth Baby Hire so Buzz is the word right now and I am excited about the possibilities of this wonderful marketing idea!
We had heaps of fun putting them together (It was like filling the kids party bags) and my daughter and I had a cut and paste afternoon where she cut up her magazines and pasted them and I cut out Buzz Bag labels and glued them onto the paper bags.

Well done Kylie!!! You certainly have been busy.
I’ve got some plastic bags with a few things in them, but am still wondering whether to just use the clear plastic bag or put it into a paper bag like yourself. I think the element of a surprise package is nice - kinda like Christmas morning, not knowing what’s inside!
I have been given a huge pile of silver/grey plastic bags so I will be using those. A sticker here, a label there and voila! Buzz Bags.
My buzz bags should be out to everyone by the end of this week ( well, except for those who have just joined.) Please let me know when you need more. I am just sending minimum numbers at the moment but I hope to send at least some to everyone. Good luck with your buzz bags!

Question for those who sell wholesale and retail - are you sending the bags to both lots or just to retail buyers?

This is my first time leaving comments on the Buzz site,so I hope I am writing this in the correct spot!
I am about to hand out Buzz Bags to playgroups and to the various mums I know ect if anyone is interested in sending some samples/business cards ect.
I also have samples of the SIP teas that I carry to send out for Buzzing if anyone has any opportunities coming up!

i think this is a great idea and would be interested in supplying fillers if anyone would like and am interested in gathering fillers from others to give buzz bags out. As i have a stall at the markets on a sunday as well as sellin online so could hand them out with sales.

As we don’t live in the same area. I just had an idea of maybe taking them to daycare centres? What do you think
